Lone Star BMX was formed with the goal of bringing BMX to the community and to teach riders valuable skills, such as determination and sportsmanship, that can be carried beyond the BMX track. In 1979, the original Lone Star BMX track was built in San Antonio by Bernie Anderson, the current owner of USABMX.
