What is #PedalforProgress?
#PedalforProgress is a community service learning program that encourages individuals of all ages to promote healthy habits by being active and develop a bike friendly culture while raising funds to support the Lone Star BMX track build and maintenance.
This event also pushes the importance of community service and supports the act of helping others.
What is the goal of #PedalforProgress?
By getting active and pedaling, we hope to log 20,000 miles from our fundraiser volunteers, donors, and individuals supporting our cause! Funds raised will be put towards maintenance on Lone Star BMX track in San Antonio.
How does the Pedal for Progress Fundraiser work?
Register Online and set up your Pedal for Progress page. This is where you will keep track of your raised funds and chart your distances individually or with your team. Be sure to check out the unique challenges!
Receive fundraising tool-kit and sign-up packet. This toolkit will provide you the necessary tools to effectively raise money for your cause. Your sign-up packet will contain all the cool swag just for simply registering and pledging to participate!
Pedal, pedal, pedal! Once you’re registered and pledged, the possibilities are endless! Set a time each day to ride your bike and don’t forget to check back in to log your distance. You can use the strava app, fit bit, or your phone to keep track.
Share with family and friends to raise funds as you complete your pledge. Get creative with asking for their support and donations and have fun! If someone is unable to donate, ask them to join you in raising money by registering online and pledging. Every dollar and distance counts towards our goal!
The funds go directly to the track build and maintenance:
$25 purchases roughly 2 bags of asphalt
$200 covers the cost of the equipment for one day
$500 will buy one load of dirt for the track

When you sign up and pledge you recieve a LSBMX swag bag
Fundraiser volunteers who raise $400 or more will receive a Special Edition Lone Star BMX Jersey
The fundraising team with the most overall funds raised will receive custom Lone Star BMX number plates
The fundraising team with the most members who actively participated in raising funds will receive a custom Lone Star Factory Apparel Shirt
The individual with the most amount of donors will have State Race entry fees covered
The individual with the most amount of miles logged will recieve a Lone Star Race Day Dedication
The individual with the most overall funds raised will receive a $500 gift card
