Timing Test at the Derby City Nationals

Elevating USA BMX Pro Racing
USA BMX is excited to test a new race day schedule for the USA BMX Pro Series. In an effort to highlight the professional athletes of BMX racing and create an entertaining viewing experience for fans on site and at home, the Derby City Nationals and the Legacy Nationals will feature a Pro start time of 6 PM on Friday and Saturday, creating a “Pro Show” race atmosphere.

State & Provincial Single Point Deadline Extended
As previously announced, in the 2024 Rulebook release, was a revamp of the State/Provincial Championship Series, where we are now counting the scores of a rider’s best 8 single point races (within that rider's state/province) using the State/Provincial Points Table. That means that each single point race is worth 20 points for an Expert win.

2024 Bob Warnicke Scholarship
USA BMX is excited to announce today that $90,000 in Bob Warnicke Scholarships for 2024 have been awarded to deserving students. Awards ranged from $3,000 to $500. USA BMX/BMX Canada members who have a current membership or Track Operators/Officials who participate in BMX racing events sanctioned by USA BMX/BMX Canada are eligible to apply.
