When I grow up I hope to be as good as Bryce Betts or Sam Willoughby. I'd like to say a quick thank you to some of my sponsors, 51Fifty, GFP, Fly, VeeTires, ODI, and everyone else thats helped me along the way! #TeamNemesis

I started racing when I was 10 on a old school Redline Jr. (Chrome). Christmas of that year (2010) I got my first new bike it was a Redline Proline Expert. I raced that bike for a couple of years and then went to a FMF Pro and rode it for almost a complete season. I was asked to join Chico Corsa BMX and agreed. For the 2015 season I was asked to join the Sac-up Industries team and made the switch We are sponsored by GHP so I switched my ride to a2015 polished aluminum GHP Pro XL cruiser. I started riding cruiser class only in 2013 and missed District 1 by 25 points that year. I made State 3 and SD BMX Track #1 Rider that year. I finished the 2014 season #1 in the district, #3 in the State (Nor Cal), Gold cup #1 West 15 Cruiser and # 1 at the SD BMX. I am also the 2015 Rider Rep for SD BMX.

My name is Joel and I have raced BMX for 4 years. I was Inter. #2 in NorCal in 2013 as a 6 year old and in 2014 I was State #4 in the 7X class. I am very lucky to have a great coach his name is TK. We train together he has taught me so much about the sport of BMX. We travel around together with my parents and go to big races. This year I made my first main as an expert at the Golden State Nationals. This was my goal for 2015 along with trying to get a top 3 state plate in 8X. I accomplished both goals and am currently am State #1. I also love to play baseball when I am not training or racing my bike. I think BMX makes me faster on the baseball field. I started riding in June 2012 at SDBMX in Chico. My favorite rider is Connor Fields. After riding for Factory Kuwahara the past two seasons I am super excited to be joining Factory WiaWis promax and LSG for the 2018 season. I am going to keep training hard and getting faster. Best of luck to everyone in 2018.
