I raced five times four in single points races coming in second each time. The only double points race was in Las Vegas Ed Fountain BMX. We had four enter two from 61 & over class and Tom Magee who I battled in the Gold Cup series all year. I got the win and got rid of my last single point race on my profile on USABMX.com. I stayed with my sis and went to a football, volleyball, and baseball game on Sunday before returning home to Kingman. Vegas Video enclosed.

Sept started off with a wreck in Bullhead. I got new cleats but forgot to readjust my pedals I stayed clipped in over a jump and up a berm. I went back to flat pedals the rest of the month. Started the month off in Richfield, Utah. I took Sunday off work for a state race in Show Low, AZ but the track got so much rain they had to postpone. I raced Friday night single point race against a couple of Vegas boys 14 & 24 year olds. I came in second. July was a tough month ran five races got 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and two National races in Las Vegas that..... I didn't make the main. I had one good run in Vegas on Saturday first Moto took them wire to wire; that felt good. Had some excessive heat days and some rain days, if it wasn't for your bad months you wouldn't enjoy your good ones.

June highlight was another trip to Utah racing at Virgin BMX. Steve Yager got me on Friday night double points but I turned the tables on him Saturday in the Gold cup qualifier. That makes two wins and three seconds in Gold Cup qualifiers. Great first half of the year ran 8 races every month but Jan (7). Averaged 800 points a month at $140 a month on entry fees.

May 1 triple point Gold cup qualifier / state race. Wow nice turn out for Turbo Harry Leary, actually had to order more trophies. So many campers and May 7-9 the Nationals just awesome; USABMX outdid themselves and put on a great show. A National next month at my home track, plus a Gold Cup qualifier the week before May 1st. I should just practice and race Turbo BMX all month long. Nope racing Nellis BMX Friday for the first time and then Saturday is their Gold cup qualifier. Had a great time, stayed with my sister and another sister and her husband was in town on holiday. They moved the Spring National from Albuquerque to Phoenix. It is closer but went back to Salina, Utah for a Gold cup race instead. I got 2nd in the big race Sat, 2nd Friday night and 4th Sunday. Finished the month doing the trifecta Lake Havasu, Bullhead, and Kingman. March 30 just read where Kingman is getting a National. They moved Las Vegas National to Kingman. Wow 😨

First week: Block racing in Henderson triple points all cruisers race Friday night pre-sign only. Okay only three of us and my sister lives in Henderson so mix some family time in. Okay... 2021: Thinking back I've never set a new year resolution and kept it. (Probably won't again) 1. Quit smoking 2. Win a district jacket. Need top 10% thinking 500 points a month will do it. Hey I got my first win in 38 years. (sorry Natalie dang it). I don't feel good about this, thx Lance for racing. Natalie took a soil sample last turn 1st moto but what a trooper!
