On May 24th Dane became the first World Champion of 2012 by winning the 6 Boys Class at the UCI BMX World Championships in Birmingham, England. In August he won the USA-BMX Western Divisional Championships, in October he won two Redline Cup Regional Championship titles and in November he won the Presidents Cup / Race of Champions (ROC) Championship and the highly coveted USA-BMX National Age Group (NAG) Championship for a total of 7 major championship titles. With only 3 months to prepare and get himself back up to a world class level, Dane went to Auckland, NZ in July to defend his World BMX title and did Team USA proud by winning every single heat, qualifier and the main event to become a 2-time, back to back BMX World Champion. In August, Dane earned his first Cruiser class title by winning the California State Championships in the 7 Cruiser Class. In September, Dane earned his 2nd Cruiser title by winning the Western Divisional National title in the 7 Cruiser class. I've been racing BMX with my older brother Kyle since I was 6 years old. I have improving a liittle each year, but I still am a novice. I have a lot of other hobbies, like piano, bow and arrow, cross country running and karate. I am currently sponsored by our local bike shop Beeteem Sports and race the Ohio State Series for them with my brother.

Will be one year riding on 8/23/15 and loving every minute of it. 12 year old novice, turned Intermediates 8/15/15 when he won 2 first place Nationals at Akron BMX Track No Nice Racing Team May 2017- 14 Intermediate and was asked to join the local Ohio YESS Factory team. Close to moving to Expert and working very hard. So excited to be apart of a Great team and move up with the YESS team. Huge thank you to Mike Spargrove and Lisa Motely for the opportunity. Dec 2 2019 Going into the new year as a 17 expert, after shoulder surgery will be a new opportunity to grow more in the sport. Looking forward to a new start
