Sam is an energetic and charismatic Expert Class racer who proudly represents the Cornwall BMX Club in Ontario, Canada, and rides for Team Unique / Hyper - Body Armor. Sam also enjoys riding his freestyle bike and is a member of the Air Gliders Elite Trampoline Team.

I started racing BMX in high school and love having my family involved with me now. I am Track Operator of Champion Speedway BMX . And I currently race in the 46 & over intermediate class. When I started back to BMX in 2010 I was racing cruiser class but my recent focus has been on the 20" class. I am a professional fire fighter and EMT for the City of Binghamton. When we are not racing; my wife Margaret and I are supporting our children in football, soccer, field hockey, wrestling, swimming, track and tennis. I like working on bikes and making custom wheels, having three boys and a wife who races keeps me busy maintaining our bikes and I enjoy building bikes for other people. My wife and I are the admins for the BMX Barter Southern Tier NY/PA For Sale Trade site on Facebook. I like training for BMX with the kids, I like meeting new people and riding with people and families who enjoy BMX as much as we do. I look forward to racing season, loading up the camper and taking off for the weekend to find as many races as possible.

In August, Dane earned his first Cruiser class title by winning the California State Championships in the 7 Cruiser Class. In September, Dane earned his 2nd Cruiser title by winning the Western Divisional National title in the 7 Cruiser class.
