Just a So Cal BMX'ER who learned to Ride at Legendary Twin Palms in Riverside, CA. Soon started racing at Riverside BMX and Coal Canyon BMX and got hooked. Watched and met many good riders like Mike Haupt, Chris Schoonover, Ryan Vanderveen, Robert "Cuz" Taylor, Mike Rebelo, Bubba Harris, Dwight Tardy, Andre Ellison, Tj Ellis, Gilbert Contreras, Greg Romero, Tanner Sabesta, Todd Lyons, Eric Carter, Barry Nilson and Jason Carnes who are just a few of my favorite riders and Racers. Stopped racing for about 16 years till moving to El Paso, Texas where I found a new home track in Desert Downs BMX. Lots of history there and I'm glad to call it my home track. Been racing four years now and am loving my AWESOME new friends. Eric Watts, Frankie "The Freight Train Teddy Bear" Patterson, Joseph Beck, Mike McKay, Clint Nelms and Rick Guthrie. ¡ BMX4LIFE !

My love affair with speed started at eight on a customized Schwinn Stingray. Inspired by motocross bikes on "Wild World of Sports," I (with Dad's help) transformed it into a mini-monster, igniting a passion that's never faded. The 70’s and 80s were a blur of wooded single tracks, halfpipes and racetracks, the wind whipping past as I pushed my limits. The 2000s brought new challenges. A wrist injury forced a pause, but it couldn't stop me. I kept tinkering, riding, the love for two wheels is unyielding. My love affair with speed started at eight on a customized Schwinn Stingray. I started racing in May 2021 with no prior BMX racing experience at the ripe age of 40. I came over from mountain bike riding which I continue to MTB ride and now race as well. Jointed Texas Regulators team in Jan 2022.

I started racing Bmx in the late summer/fall 1976 at Wakarusa Indiana Bmx track. I have had many "come backs" over the years, as i take a few years away from racing every so often and I have gone back to racing over and over again. This year has been a life saver in some ways, I have been needing a way to get healthy and Bmx is the only thing that seems fun to me. I have had so much fun meeting new and old Bmx racers again this summer 2020 during this strange Covid rules year. Looking to go to my first ABA Grands in Tulsa this year since 1981

Not a spectator this time around. 57 is the new 15. In 2000-2001 we brought our kids out to try BMX. It lasted a couple of years. 20 years later we brought our grandkids out to the same track, and I said I’m not just watching from the sidelines. Started racing at 55 and love it.
