Started in 1975. Raced off and on until 1984. Took about 20+ years off and started racing again. I am very slow but just out there to have fun. I adopted a new mantra "I am still faster than the guy sitting on the couch." BMX has given me life long friends and memories. Please click on the Sponsors tab to the left to see my sponsors.

Started racing in 1979 in Indiana. Sponsored during my career by ClemTwin, Oakley, Profile. Bell and Haro. Stopped racing in 1985 and hung up the bike until 2017 when I started racing again with my two sons Adam and Luke. First race back was the 2017 Las Vegas Nationals and was just as I remembered.

Bicycles and BMX have been a passion for me since early childhood. BMX is great because of the balance of skill strength mental composure and technical gear. We all see these things and or others in our sport that drive our enrichment and fun. In the late 70s to early 80s I raced. Growing from novice to AA pro in 5 years was a great experience. The excitement and learning were priceless. In 2009 I came back. Some strong support from those who believed in me brought some great fun and solid results. Racing is still a great passion for me - the focus it takes to do well.... Helping people see their full potential and taking steps to get there is something I really enjoy. That is why I am now also a USABMX Coach. Anything I can do to encourage teach and support our community is a wonderful opportunity.
