The Migration to Louisville Begins

USA BMX is out in full force in Louisville, Kentucky prepping for the USA BMX Bluegrass Nationals – Eastern Divisional Finals, this weekend. 

Weekend Forecast- Lots of Great BMX Action!

The legendary Derby City BMX is in pristine condition following a complete rebuild by USA BMX Master Track Builder, Billy Allen.  The Derby City BMX crew has been prepping the venue at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park and the track is completely covered to protect it both before and during the event.   Despite having the track completely covered, as precaution, we are also sourcing a drying agent for any wet spots on the track which need attention. Fortunately with the modified schedule we have ample time to run the event, even in the case of rain delays as both Saturday and Sunday race time starts at 8 a.m. Additionally, the Friday weather is looking perfect with only a 20% chance of rain which is basically the default rain parentage here in Louisville.  Bottom line – rain or shine, we are going to have a great event on a great track that all the riders and families will love. 

In addition to having the opportunity to win one of those incredible Divisional Finals Jerseys, everyone will be treated to amazing Pro racing action!  This is the first major US Pro event post London and the talent will be amazing.  Here is just a short list of some of the riders who will be in attendance:
