Volunteer Info
North Shore BMX relies solely on the assistance of volunteers to operate. This year we started our season with more people coming forward to help and a big thanks to all those who have taken steps to help. However our club needs MORE people to come forward and be part of making BMX racing happen for the kids!! A big thanks to those generous volunteers thus far, and hence we've been able to run many successful club events. But please remember that all those volunteers have jobs, kids, families and other commitments like you and the present board. For your kids, please consider small commitment of time and help. More volunteers means lighter hands for everyone.
During 2016 season, we are hoping to have a secondary volunteer team to run practices and races when the present board can’t make it due to other BMX commitments. There are only a handful of dates that need to be covered by the second slate. The purpose is to keep our events consistent so the parents and kids can depend on weekly events to schedule into the already busy calendar. Keep in mind, these dates coincide with other National or Provincial races which our development team generally attends as part of their commitment to the devo team goals of finding Provincial or National rankings. This year is special in goals in particular to those riders who wish to tryout and or make the Canadian National Team which is set to compete at the worlds in South Carolina in 2017.
These are the dates we need a secondary volunteer team.
