Bicycle & Equipment Requirements
Bicycle Requirement
Bicycle - 20" or Cruiser (24" or 26") 12", 16" & 18" bicycles are acceptable for competition.
Multi-speed MTB style bicycles are acceptable for competition in the Cruiser class.
All bicycles must have an operating hand braking system.
Handlebars not to exceed 30" inches including grips.
Handlebars must have grips with closed ends.
Frames and handlebars must be in good structural condition with no broken welds or jagged exposures.
All kick-stands, free style pegs, reflector brackets, fenders and chain guards must be removed.
All wheels, seats and bars must be securely tightened.
Axles must not protrude beyond nuts more then 1/4 inch.
Number plates with legible numbers are required.
Equipment Requirement
All riders must wear full face helmets with a permanent strap attached: snaps are not allowed. Helmets must have sufficient padding and be of good quality.
All riders must wear enclosed shoes.
It is recommended that riders wear long pants. Loose fitting short pants made of tear resistant material are permitted and used in combination with a one-piece knee and shin guard with a rigid surface. There must be no exposed skin above the knee or below the shin guard extending to above the ankle.
It is recommended that riders wear long sleeve shirts and racing gloves.
Social
