Disciplinary Action

80/35 BMX reserves the right to remove a rider from an event or future events if they or their associated persons violate the Code of Conduct. Severe or repeated violations may lead to suspension and possible permanent expulsion. Serious incidents will be reported to USA BMX.

Depending on the severity of the offense, violators may face the following disciplinary actions:

  1. Verbal Warning: Given to the offender or their parent/guardian if under 18.
  2. Written Warning: Issued by the Track Operator or Board President, to be signed by the offender and their parent/guardian and returned before participation in the next event.
  3. Three- Race Suspension: Notification within 48 hours of the infraction, followed by suspension from the next three consecutive races and all events during the same time period.
  4. Extended Suspension: Suspension for at least one calendar year, possibly indefinite, including possible USA BMX actions.

Any act deemed to be detrimental to the image, culture, or climate of the track, the safety of other riders, parents, track officials, volunteers and spectators, or failure to respect and/or comply with a track official’s directions or decision may result in immediate suspension at the decision of the Track Operator or Board President.
