RACE FOR LIFE - DOUBLE POINT RACE - MAY 5 2019

The RACE FOR LIFE is a charity BMX race event where riders and parents fund raise to gather donations benefitting Leukemia Cancer Research at the BC Children’s Hospital. It's all about kids helping kids.

All proceeds from the entry fees will be sent to BC Children's Hospital Leukemia Cancer Research Unit. Riders can also collect funds before and after the race and receive special prizes provided by BMX Canada and Nanaimo BMX, based on the amount collected. Tracks earn the privilege of double point status for their 2020 Race For Life by attaining a $1,500 donation goal this year. To date, Nanaimo BMX and fellow BMX Canada tracks in BC have raised over $450,000.

BC tracks raised $66,246.30 during the 2017 BMX race season. Our own local club Nanaimo BMX contributes approximately $10,000 annually and is consistently one of the top fundraising BMX tracks in BC.

COME OUT AND RIDE.  You don`t have to be a member to try BMX or to participate in the RACE FOR LIFE.  $10 from EVERY RIDER is donated. Anyone can participate in this race: families, friends and  neighbours – just bring a bike and your $10 donation (non-members).
