GRANTS AWARDED

People For Bikes - Boulder, Colorado

Volunteer and friend of the track, Heather Walker,  along with her husband Chadwick, have been busy writing grants for our track relocation project. As a result, PeopleForBikes awarded Silver Dollar BMX with $7,500 to help with our track relocation!

A little about PeopleForBikes from their website:

PeopleForBikes, it is a campaign to broaden public support of bicycling across the country. Today, PeopleForBikes has more than 1,370,000 members and we engage them by letting them know about local, state and federal activities that affect bicycling, hosting contests, challenges, and campaigns that encourage people to share photos, stories, or commit to specific actions, and posting articles and blogs about all aspects of bicycling. PeopleForBikes is free to join for individuals and we aim to strengthen the work of local and state advocacy organizations by adding resources and reinforcements to the movement. The more PeopleForBikes members we have, the more we can support projects like yours!

Go check out their website (https://peopleforbikes.org/). I encourage you to sign up so we can all be part of this great effort!
