About Emery Park BMX
Operation of youth sports facility, Emery Park BMX provides competitive BMX racing for both boys, girls and adults from ages 3 to 50+ BMX racing is an individual sport and is designed to build self confidence and self esteem in anyone who participates. Races are organized according to age group and skill levels, so everyone gets the opportunity to compete on a fair and competitive basis. Even beginner riders have the chance to race safely with other new riders. All riders get an awesome "First Time Rider Award" , NO MATTER how you finish in your first race when you buy a full membership.
Emery Park BMX has a lighted 1250' track with a two-sided asphalt-starting hill, permanent concession stand. Shaded spectator area with picnic tables and bleachers, plenty of trash cans, permanent restrooms with temporary toilets in parking lot, a asphalt parking lot with 77 stalls with other asphalt parking on access road, City fishing lake within 100' of parking lot (with fish), playground, picnic shelter and basketball court. RC car track next to track. Hotels within 2.5 miles, McDonald's and gas station/convenient store within 1 mile, other fast food and restaurants within 2 miles, two Wal-Mart's within 3 miles. Emery Park BMX has been operating the race track at Emery Park in partnership with the Wichita Parks and Recreation Department since 1985 . We provide our services to hundreds of Wichita Metropolitan Area children and their families each week. We are a non-profit organization staffed 100% by community volunteers, and over these years we have built this facility entirely through the hard work of our many volunteers and through the generous donations of cash, materials and labor from local individuals and businesses. Kansas BMX, Inc. DBA as Emery Park BMX is a tax exempt, non-profit organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Tax ID #83-1806952). Donations are tax deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
