2014 BMX Hall of Fame Inductees are Announced
Once again, the Sport of BMX will gather under the Olympic Flame at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California - on Saturday, September 27, for the National BMX Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and dinner. After taking public nominations since October of 2013, five different Hall of Fame committees narrowed the list down to the Final 5, which was voted on by more than 400 specially selected individuals. The final results of this process are the following five Inductees, and a special recognition induction, to make up the Class of 2014:

$45,000 Awarded to Bob Warnicke Scholarship Recipients
USA BMX is pleased to announce and congratulate the following 31 BMXers for being approved for a Bob Warnicke BMX scholarship. This year, thanks to increased participation in the Bob Warnicke Scholarship races, The American Bicycle Association was able to give out a record $45,000 in scholarships to the following 31 collegiate students.

BMX Canada introduces the "O-Cup"
In addition to the Maple Leaf Nationals being a 3-day National, BMX Canada would like to introduce the “O Cup“ for 2014. The “O Cup” will combine the three best scores earned at BMX Nationals in Ontario and will be an award presented in each of the age classes at the conclusion of the race on Sunday, September 21. The format used will be very similar to that of the Eastern and Western Divisional Series of USA BMX.
