This was my first race of the 2015 season. All winter I have been on a bike, but not on a track. I rode my park bike at indoor parks all winter, like Ray's in CLE and Cranxs in NY. I was not expecting much and was just happy to be on my race bike in warm weather and to see my "national" friends. I wasn't sure how today was going to go, but I felt pretty good. In my first moto, I transferred out in first place. I got myself focused for the main from gate 2...and I won. I surprised myself, but know when I put my mind to it I can get it done. On to Day 2 tomorrow...whatever happens, happens. I'm having FUN!
Day 2 arrived. I transferred out in my first moto in second place. Once again I got focused for the main from gate 4. I came unclipped and ended up with a second place. Congrats to my friend Wesley on the win!
All in all this was a great way to start my 2015 season!
