i went to my first Bational race, Empire State Nationals, last weekend. I was very excited, but also nervous about racing kids from all over. Friday night we missed practice because of car problems so my first Moto was the first time on the track. I took 2nd that night, but the finish was so close that even the officials weren't sure who won, but made a judgement call. I knew I could win against the other boy and that is what I did on Saturday! My first National win! Woke up Sunday to pouring rain and a race delay. 1 Moto transfer and I made it to the main. Came down to me and the same boy again. He got the win and I took second, but I plan to win if I race him again!
