In August of 2014 at a Vintage Bike Show at Waterford Oaks BMX, that his father took him to, Lukas, was introduced to BMX. On a WalMart bike, track helmet and pads, he almost instantly feel in love with the sport. In May of 2015 he won his first local race as a 5 year old. Also in that month he broke his arm while falling down a few stairs. Lukas turned 6 in June of 2015 and was back on the track in July. In September he broke his other arm while falling off a playground structure at a neighbors house. He finished 2015 season with 5 wins in novice class. 2016 started off with a 1st place finish at the first State race of the year. Four local wins followed quickly after that state race 1st place finish. In the same week in June of 2016, Lukas turned 7 and became an intermediate rider. The struggle to make mains at State races was difficult to endure. More practice and learning to use clipless pedals throughout that summer started to show him some rewards. At the State series final in August, he finished 3rd and was awarded the #7 State Plate for his class. Unlike the previous year, he continued to race throughout the fall and traveled out of the state for the first time and raced cruiser class for the first time. The 2017 season started off with racing almost every weekend at Rock City Indoor. Cruiser class was a struggle but he continued to progress well on his class bike. The first state race was in March. Unlike in previous State races, Lukas made his main but was unable to get comfortable in a full gate. An 8th place finish was not what he was looking for. More practice and work in gate seemed to be the answer. Mains made in the next two state races with 3rd place finishes are more acceptable to him. Finished off the 2017 State Series with the #3 Plate in 8 intermediate and #2 Plate in 8 cruiser. Honored to be racing for team #OFFRacing . Lukas turned expert in October of 2017! He finished the 2017 season with district #26 in class and district #8 in cruiser.

I am a 24 year old rider living in Belton, TX. I started racing BMX in February of 2018 and have enjoyed every minute of it! As an active duty Soldier in the Untied States Army, it is an honor and a privilege to ride for the American Soldier Network BMX Team. At ASNBMX, we ride to help raise awareness to stop Soldier suicide, and I could not be prouder of our team, our mission, and the friends I have met along the way! When I'm not on my BMX bike, I'm either enjoying my dream job as a solider, playing my guitar, or spending time with my lovely girlfriend, Savannah.

I started racing when I was 14 back then the sweet tracks were in Arvada( remember the bridge) and at Boulder County Fairgrounds during the winter Indoor, that was fun. I Quit when i was around 17. I always rode mountain bikes of and on and was a hard core road biker for about the last 6 years up until June 2018. I Just started Riding bmx again in June of 2019 and started racing again at the same time. I'm in Intermediate Class Trying to gain my feet again and trying to get used to this 20" but these young expert riders are fast and I'm having trouble keeping up. i just need to push myself hard, start hitting the gym, and have NO FEAR!! . UPDATE: 07/01/20 - practicing and getting better gunning for the #1 in state this year. I think I can do it as long as I don't get stuck racing experts all year. Also really trying my best to earn 18 scratch that 17 more 1st places this year so I can move up to expert which will be a much more difficult task since I'm always racing experts , but it can only make me better .
