Hello, my name is Charles Jacob Oliver. I go by Jacob, or Jake. I'm now known at my home track as "Jake the Snake." I am 10 years old and race in the 10-Novice class. I was born in Montgomery, Alabama. I moved to PTC, GA in 2011. I took up BMX racing in 2015 in May. I picked up my first moto win on 8/8, but spun a foot off my pedal in the Main event and was relegated back to 2nd place. I was subsequently picked up by FACTORY TEAM SOUND BARRIER on 8/22. At this time I was riding an "old school" black Redline Junior, and was wearing a mostly black uniform. I was known as, "The Man in Black" at the PTC track during this time. On 9/5/2015, I procured and mounted an Intense frame Podium XLT bike at the track and rode it that day to 2 moto wins and the Main win ... for my first overall 1st place position. The very next weekend came my next finish at the top of the podium. I took on the name as "Jake the Snake" and continue to be called that. I am THE SNAKE! I decided to focus on my riding technique and in the meantime took 2nd Place in the Alabama State Championships at Oak Mountain. Recently I placed 3rd in The Gold Cup Pre-Race on 10/30/2015, then took 1st place in Race 1 & 1st Place in Race 2 of The Gold Cup on 10/31/2015! I also play soccer, and really enjoy that sport as well. Sometimes I show up at the track a little tired from soccer, or rush away from the track heading to a soccer game or practice. Look for Jake the Snake at GA01 District races!

I am a 14 Expert rider from Statesboro, Georgia. My home track is Blanchard Woods BMX in Evans, Georgia. I proudly ride for the BOMBSHELL/AVENT EAST DEVELOPEMENT TEAM. Interesting fact... I am a triplet. I have also been to Ohio Dreams 3 times; 2015, 2016 and 2017. I took a break from camp for 2018 but I went to Woodward East in June 2019.
