This is our first real "away for the weekend" race. We've done a few 1-day-drive races, but this is the first where we're renting a hotel room and going for a couple days/nights. Regional qualifiers, here we come! Hoping that High Springs is nicer to us than Naples. I see the hill isn't as big as James is used to, but it looks like big, comfy corners...I'm sure he'll be fine. Winning at Gator Nationals definitely gave him a boost of confidence. All my consternation on gears and crank lengths? I didn't make any changes. Running the 155mm cranks and 42/15 gears as always. I'm not above walking over to the J&R tent and making changes over the weekend, though...

Ohhh! Almost forgot--> we met David Graf last weekend and had no idea who he was. He loved the fact that James was blasting down the hill and doing lap after lap. Gave us some pointers, too. A genuinely nice guy. Hope we see him again someday now that we know who he is!
