Welcome to my first blog! Super stoked about keeping you all updated with what’s going on in my world of racing! Let’s see last weekend we went up to Rum River BMX for their Race For Life and Gold Cup Qualifier event…and let me tell you…what am AMAZING track they have up there and to be able to race all year long…TOTALLY GNARLY! My mom took me up there for the first time…and let me tell you…she was not happy with my dad! Why you ask…well I don’t do well in the car and my dad talked my mom out of getting me Dramamine saying that I would “be fine”…but that was clearly not the case. Good thing is we made it to Saturday’s race and still made my main regardless of how crappy I felt. On Sunday’s race I took 5th out of 14 riders. I felt I did really well for not racing for 5 months…but man it felt good to get back on the track!
Let’s talk Rum River-
AMAZING! Track was great! Food was great! (I think I ate them out of cotton candy) People where great! LOVED watching the pro’s! My mom really liked that they made the parents go across the street to smoke. YEP can’t wait to go back!
What’s happing this weekend-
Easter Duh! (LOL) Well hopefully we will have out opening race here at Omaha BMX Friday night. The weather says there is a chance for rain but let’s hope it doesn’t. Then off to Star City in Lincoln for their race on Saturday. They usually have them on Sundays, but due to holiday they changed their schedule…Thank you Star City! Always thinking of their riders!
