Picture is from my first ABA Great Lakes National win in 1982 at Waterford, Michigan. 11 years old and made expert that year. I left the sport 2 years later until I recently got dragged back into it by my buddies. Thanks guys, what are friends for!
Looking forward to more fun times in a great sport.
Todd Holtsberry built his original Stingray bmx bike in 1973 and taught himself how to ride. He began racing in 1979 in Denver, Colorado while vacationing with family. Todd won his first National at ABA's 1983 Superbowl Of BMX in 13 Expert Class. Todd and his father constructed Diehl Park BMX circa 1984 in Defiance, Ohio. Todd was on the Levi's Strauss Factory Team. Three years later Hitech sent him the first Golden Eagle Pro to ride for their brand. He was 18 and over expert with NBL and hyperextending a knee ended a long racing run on April 1, 1988 at the Sarasota NBL National. Many failed attempts caused Todd to officially retire in 1990. Thirty-two years later, Todd Holtsberry raced at Marquette on July 17th and 18th 2020 winning both mains for double points. He is the owner of Boneyard Bicycles and has a sponsorship deal with Cyclecraft BMX.
Riding 4yrs and loving it. I ride for Yess Bmx on the Great Lake Yess Team and could not have found a better group of people to ride with or for! Home track is Rock City Bmx, one of the best run tracks in the country!
Last time I raced BMX was in 1984 when I was 13 years old.
I am back after 35 years and mad at myself that I ever stopped, as I've realized I am a BMXer for Life!
I Love this sport!
Started racing at 11 years old in 1982 and raced throughout the whole decade, racing in multiple Nationals and ending up competing in the 16 & Over Expert and Open Class before College called and I left the Sport. Just recently came back 30 years later competing in the 46-50 Intermediate Class, it's great to be back in one of the best Family Sports around!!
We're excited you want to ride with us! If you are a new rider, welcome to the family! If you are experienced, we are glad to have you back. Please select below:
