Mama and granddad took Morgan racing since TJ and dad were in New Jersey racing. Morgan qualified 1st in race 1 and went on to win the main. Morgan was fast and almost went over the bars a couple times. Team Captain for Buddy Lee Racing provided Morgan some bike technique coaching between race 1 and the main to assist him with better bike control. Congratulations to 'Mr. Bopper'!

Just TJ raced at the GC qualifier. TJ qualified first in race 1. Rain was a big theme for the day but the track held up great. The main did not go so well. TJ and two other racers got tangled up and crashed before turn 1 in some​ of the tightest pack racing he has been in since starting BMX in September 2016. Just TJ raced and Morgan stayed home so he could go to his cousin's birthday party. TJ qualified first n race 1 and went on to win his first state qualifier. It rained.....and rained more so the track was a bit less than optimal. The track operator, volunteers, and racers pushed on. Thanks to everyone at the track for keeping the race scheduled.

TJ raced 14 Intermediate, two age groups up and finished 4th in race 1, qualified 1st in race 2, and 4th in the main. TJ really liked racing up, particularly the challenge. Morgan raced 10 Intermediate, 4 age groups up. Morgan came in 2nd in his main, 4 age groups up! Congratulations to Morgan and TJ in this awesome achievement!

Morgan won his 10th Novice race and is now moving to Intermediate. Congratulations to 'Mr. Bopster' from all of us. Morgan won (1) race in 2016, he only raced 3 times, and has won (8) straight races in 2017. He has been talking about getting clip less shoes and pedals since Sunday. Congratulations to Morgan and TJ on 1st place finishes. TJ's Moto was a bit confusing and maybe not correct. TJ is 12 intermediate but he raced 12 Novice but was correctly listed as 12I. I tried to interpret the rulebook and it looks like he should have moved up in age first and then class. Morgan qualified for the main by coming in 1st in his first race and went n to win the main. Morgan was fast today. TJ's first race in intermediate ended with 1st place. Congratulations to both Morgan and TJ! During practice TJ looped out on the first straight triple and also washed out n his first qualifier going into turn three. As always, TJ persevered and put it behind him by coming in first in his second race and first n the main.

Congratulations TJ on your 10th Novice win and move to Intermediate! TJ's drive and push is amazing. Family describes TJ as wide open, dare devil, aggravating his younger siblings at times but those most close to him know that he is just a great person, son, and friend. What a great day at our home track. Morgan qualified in his first race and went on with a 1st place finish in the main. Today Morgan received his eighth win as a Novice. We are so proud of him, not because of his wins but the maturity, dedication, drive, and sportsmanship that he shows in this sport.
