Track Work

Hi to all Stouffville BMX Members and fans. Here is the situation with the track. Due to the massive amount of rain in June the second corner eroded on the back quite significantly and the pavement shifted across the top of the turn. The pavement has now fallen away and the dirt is exposed.  The second corner is not 100% and we will cancel this weeks practice and clinic (July 8). Our priority is rider safety.

In an effort to fix this and make it better moving forward we are installing a retaining wall and are back filling the turn so this wont be an issue. There will be large machinery on site this week and early next so we will continue to keep July 15 practice and clinic on the schedule.

We are sorry that we had to cancel this weeks schedule but it is in the best interest of rider safety. SBMX Executive
