Hello all you Central Oregon BMX'rs. This weekend May 21-22 marks the first series of state qualifier events in Oregon for the 2016 race season. It is an unspoken rule that we do not compete against another tracks SCR race to help promote a better turn out and encourage our locals to go compete. The Souther Oregon race series is will begin Saturday morning with an double point scr race at Klamath Falls BMX and then go to Medford at Rogue Valley BMX track for another double point scr race. Sunday morning the racing starts at River City BMX in Grants Pass with a triple point scr and then over to Umpqua Valley BMX for a combined Gold CUP and triple point scr race in the afternoon. 

So, in return our local track will be closed this Friday May 20 in observance of their event. Most of our staff and majority of our bmx'rs are already packing it up and leaving for Southern Oregon right after work on Friday. We wish everybody good luck.

June 4th and 5th, Central Oregon Series will conduct its own series of SCR Races for the season. All of our out of town friend will reciprocate the kindness of closing their tracks so we get the best turn out possible. We will put in the labor and hard work to prep our tracks, and stock our snack shacks with goodies to host our friends. And just a little hint, we will have special awards for 1st-3rd which riders might want to get autographed.
