Our AGM (Annual General Meeting) will take place on Wednesday November 8th, 6:30-8pm at the Juan de Fuca Clubhouse.  This is where we vote in our new Executive team for the 2018 year.  If you are interested in standing for a position on the executive and would like more information, please don't hesitate to ask. Click here to find descriptions of all the positions.

Having a strong club means having a strong Executive – If you’ve ever thought of getting more involved in setting the future direction of our great track, now is your chance!

The Agenda should be fairly simple:

• A very quick summary from each Director on how the year went
• Update on financials
• Voting in of the next Executive.

Voting Procedure

Each fully paid member receives one (1) vote if they are fourteen (14) years of age or older, regardless of how many classes the member rides. Members under the age of fourteen (14) years of age, will have one (1) parent or guardian vote on their behalf, regardless of how many classes the member rides. Associate members will not be permitted to vote at a general meeting, special meeting or annual general meeting. Proxy voting will be permitted upon presentation of written authorization to the President of a voting member in good standing for a designated person to do so, prior to the commencement of the meeting. The proxy vote will only be good for the meeting it has been presented at. There will be a maximum of one (1) proxy vote per voting member.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the 14 or older member is not attending, the parent, guardian or designated voter must have a proxy signed by the member.
