Congratulations to Victoria riders Brayden Friesen and Janel Church who qualified in Calgary this week to represent Canada at the BMX World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan next year.

Also, this next week we bring timing forward by 15 minutes on race nights to try and get racing done before we lose daylight.  Please be prompt at registration and/or try to pre-register to speed things along.

Racing & Practice sessions this week

Back to regular racing on Tuesday (Trophy Race) and practice on Thursday with an extra practice session on Saturday. A reminder that Saturday's practice will be open to half trackers and striders for the first 45 minutes (until 11:15am) - the remainder of the time will be full track only. Check Facebook for up to date news.

Our coaching session is cancelled this week.  See you all again on September 11th.
 

Ferry tickets for BMX Canada Grands, October 6-8th

For those riders planning on going to the Grands in Chilliwack in October and would be interested in the possibility of ferry passenger vouchers for riders, please contact Carol Sykes re the club putting in an application.  BC Ferries will only accept one request per club and Carol is organizing our application.  Please note that we can requesting vouchers but approval is not guaranteed. Stay tuned for more news on our application.

Trophies

If you have trophies or trophy parts to donate, we will gladly take them off your hands!  Bring them to the moto shed during any regular practice or race sessions.
