Fun Fact 1️⃣ about Sunshine State BMX Series = DID YOU KNOW... THE FL STATE SERIES IS A COLLAB BETWEEN SUNSHINE STATE BMX & USABMX. UNLIKE OTHER STATES THAT START IN JAN, OUR SERIES STARTS IN THE FALL AND ENDS IN THE SPRING SO WE'RE NOT RACING DURING THE HOT FL SUMMER. THIS YEAR WE START IN OCT & END IN APRIL. Miami South will continue to be 🚫CLOSED🚫 this week through Labor Day Weekend as we attempt to finalize track repairs. As some of you may or may not know, we’ve had a lot of rain and our slurrying didn’t take. We’re waiting on a soiltac delivery to finalize repairs. We’ll keep you guys posted, and we can’t wait to see everyone riding soon. 😎

Sunshine State BMX Series - TRACK Vs. TRACK
Track vs. Track will be a little different this year. Riders are encouraged to wear their jerseys on Saturday of the opener at Jacksonville BMX but it’s not mandatory. Riders will be used for the track they have their membership credited to. Every State Qualifier will count (Saturday and Sunday of each race) along with the Final but points will be based on best 10 races for each rider. Winner will be crowned at Award Ceremony. Fun Fact 🔟 Each stop is a full weekend. Plan ahead!
With the exception of the championship race all qualifier weekends follow the same format. Friday: The hosting track normally offers a training clinic along with an evening practice session. Saturday: Practice starts bright & early by age groups.. then WE RACE! Sunday: No practice, no registration. Racing starts first thing in the morning. Each stop will have a full schedule posted.

GOT A STRIDER? Balance Bike Oualifications are: Race in a minimum of three(3) state championship races AND the State Championship Final. All riders will be awarded the trophy of the day at each qualifier and at the final race. Qualified balance bike riders will receive a trophy & a number plate at the award ceremony.

DID YOU KNOW….. Each State qualifier is a DOUBLE POINT race! What does that mean? You earn more points towards your yearly district points total. The more district points you earn, the better your annual district number. Miami South BMX district FL04... how do you rank?

TRACK VS TRACK Which track is the top track in FL? The series will tally points for every rider at each qualifier based on their home track. At the end of the series, we'll see which track has the most points! Does your membership reflect the track you consider your home track? If not, ask us what you can do. Race and Represent!

RACE MORE & EARN MORE POINTS (UP TO 16 RACES) RIDERS WHO RACE 30 OR MORE A COMBO OF SINGLE -POINT RACES, STATE RACES & THE FINAL) WILL RECEIVE A CUSTOM AWARD AT THE FINAL
