With some great weather and a group of volunteers putting in extra effort, the reshaping and rebuilding of our 2nd and 3rd straights was accomplished without having to deal with rain.  The only downside of the accomplishment is that we had to cancel our Sunday race to finish up the third straight.  Quite often riders would say that our third straight was an uphill battle.  Well, I don't think we will be hearing those words from now on.  Our changes began with raising the table out of the first turn and shifting it toward the first straight.  The next jump which we frequently would refer to as the maneater ( triple ) was shifted over next to the second jump in the first straight.  The shift  created a long arc to the second turn.  So, the step up just before turn 2 was also shifted counterclockwise to line it up with the turn entry.  Coming out of turn 2 the first jump was pushed forward ten feet and raised a foot.  Next came the build of the decision maker.  To the right after the tall step is the Pro jump line with two 26 foot gap jumps.  To the left and arcing toward our announcing tower is a table the blends in with the first pro jump.  After the table comes a low double with a step behind it and then  a roller table to finish the third run to the third turn.   Because of the changes made on the big track, we also did a rebuild of the Strider track.  The little champions now have both a staging area and a gate to load up in.

Come on out and get a feel for the flow of the changes made.  We have a race scheduled for this coming Sunday.  Registration begins at 11:00 am and closes at 12:30 pm.  Races start ASAP after motos are posted.  We are looking forward to getting in this race and the reactions of those that can make it.  We're sure you will like the change.
