Going all the way back to the glory days of the Murray World Cup or the NBL Grands, this track has hosted some incredible racing. ...and that was with fairly flat berms! This year, riders were treated to some major bankage for their berm warfare, with fresh asphalt to boot. If you thought past races were hot, then this weekend was going to be boiling!

    A week prior to the 2016 Land o' Lakes National, the area around Isanti, Minnesota was in the 90’s and listed as one of the hottest places in the USA - while just north of the track, folks were experiencing snow flurries and 30 mph wind, but once inside the Rum River BMX Indoor Arena any weather worries dissipated like a passing spring snow storm.     2016 BMX Hall of Fame Inductees announced

    It's slated to be one of the biggest days for BMX in 2016: On Saturday night, June 11th in Chula Vista, Ca., the National Hall of Fame will induct six new legends of the sport into the famed hall. All of this will take place just hours after the U.S. BMX Olympic Trials where the second U.S. Athlete to represent the United States will be decided!

    Thousands of BMX racers, fans and family converged on the Dechutes County Fairgrounds for the annual Great Northwest Nationals, and they were all in for plenty of fun and some ferociously fast racing!

    Circle City BMX was originally built in 1984, and for the most part has been running races since then (plus or minus a few years in the 90’s). In 1986 the “famous” crossover was put in to create a straightened first straight away to eliminate the original right handed dogleg that was dictated by the borrow pit the track is built in. Yes this track is built in the hole created when the city of Dothan needed dirt to make the water slides for the “Water World Complex” just around the corner from the track, and it turned out to be a perfect fit and location for this unique BMX track.
