This has been a wild ride this season so far!  At first I didn't think anything could compare to my 2013 season.  How do you top winning the ROC and the Grands for the first time?  This is my first season on a Factory team, Factory Rift-Tangent.  I love everyone on my team and my team manager Tj Johnson and team owner Rich Pelton.  They are so supportive.  This year I challenged myself to race some early nationals to go up against the older faster girls.  I'm really proud of myself because I did pretty well, finishing top 3 or 4 most of the time.  My season really didn't kick in to gear though until around August when I finally got my first win of the season.  Out of 23 National Class finishes, I was on the podium 16 times and in Cruiser, out of 21 National finishes, I was on the podium 18 times.  This is my first time going in to Grands with six National wins for class and sitting in the top ten for cruiser.  I actually have a shot at NAG #1 this year.  Last year I missed it by 9 points.  That's okay though because I got to bring home the BIG trophy for the win!!  This year I also won the Western Divisional Championship in Reno and the Nor-Cal State title for the fourth year in row!  Every year it gets harder and harder. My mom and dad took me to the Canadian Grands for the first time.  This is where I earned my very first "triple" win on Saturday.  On Sunday I earned a 2nd in open, 1st in class and 1st in cruiser.  The DK Gold Cup West was a bit of a disappointment for me this year.  I was under the weather the week leading up to and over the race weekend with a really bad chest cold, which kept me from performing at my best.  I tried very hard but all I was able to pull together was a win on Saturday then Sunday I didn't make my main.  With all of that behind me, now my focus is Grands.  This is what I've been working and training for all season.  I will be going in to Grands in 3rd place for nag points, 1503 points!  All the girls in my class are fast and I look forward to the challenge of facing them again in November!  BMX is what I love and I will not leave anything on the table.  No regrets!
