2015 was another great year of racing for me. It was only my 2nd full year of racing since I began riding BMX at the end of 2013. It wasn't a perfect year but I accomplished a lot and turned my goals into reality. I was able to earn State Champion in both class & cruiser. I ended up #2 at Gold Cup West in class & cruiser. I also went to GRANDS for the first time in my life.

ROC - I trained hard and went into the season finale with a lot of confidence. There were some ups & downs but I learned a lot from that weekend. In the Race of Champions I transferred with a 1st round win in cruiser and won every qualifier in class. I made some mistakes in cruiser and missed the main by one spot. In class I spun out of the gate but ended up on the podium with a solid 3rd.

GRANDS - I didn't make it out of 2nd round in cruiser but won almost every qualifier in class & mixed open. After making my main for open, I was focused on class. My semi was one of my worst rides all weekend, but I stayed in qualifiyng position going into the last turn. Unfortunately another rider tried to make a desperate pass and took out my front wheel ending my day in class. As bummed as I was, I had to put it all aside and focus on the main for open. I was in gate 4 and got the pull down the first straight. I had my sights set on that finish line and rode a perfect lap, securing the 7 foot tall #1 trophy at the end. Overall it was a great experience and I learned a lot. Riding cruiser at a big race like that gave me the confidence to go into 2016 ready to battle. Glory to God! Thankful to be able to race and compete in this sport.
